Carmen is an agricultural communications professional with a track record of successfully managing public relations and public policy priorities for multiple organizations and public figures. With over 20 years of experience, she has become a trusted advisor to CEOs, politicians and brand spokespeople as they navigate media interviews across various channels, including print, broadcast and television.
Throughout her career she’s contributed to the success of hundreds of media campaigns, advising on message development, crisis communication and public relations strategies. At OBP, she leads the public relations team, working to connect media and the public with the work of organizations through paid, earned, shared and owned opportunities.
Carmen resides in Amarillo, Texas, with her husband and three young kids. She’s an active partner in her family’s cow-calf operation and loves reading and volunteering in her community.
